Personal Note: I can't say much in regards to meaninful inforrmation for this band as my import CD was extremely sparse in the liner note department. I have managed to find out that the band was a group of Colombian musicians that played Latin Funk/Jazz with psych/prog styled guitar...Very similar to what Malo & Santana was doing on early albums such as Borbolleta, III and Abraxas. (Hence the album art used here from the same artist that designed the "Annunciation" painting that was used for Santana's "Abraxas" album art.) It is also noted that the original album cover was bashed by critics as being distasteful so this one was used for the 2001 Japanese Import and there was another Domestic reissue released back around '03 or '04. Both are currently out of print. These guys are instrumentally tight with a heavy emphasis on latin/cuban styled percussion fused with grinding organ with a few breaks thrown out here and there. If you have an interest in early Santana-styled latin rhythm & percussion then check this out...Track one is a smoker.
